    • Founded by Todd Hosfelt in 1996, Hosfelt Gallery has distinguished itself through the intellectual rigor and refined aesthetics of its programming, and the elegance and intelligence of its installations in beautiful exhibition spaces. The program ranges from the scholarly examination of some of the most important post-war artists from the Bay Area to the introduction of exceptional contemporary artists from around the world and is marked by a commitment to supporting art that doesn’t necessarily align with current trends. Central to the gallery’s mission are education and fostering community.

Hosfelt Gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America, where Todd serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors.

    • We acknowledge the original inhabitants of the place now called San Francisco — the Ramaytush Ohlone, Muwekma, Miwok, Yokuts, Patwin, and other Ohlone peoples. We honor the generational dissemination of indigenous wisdom, as education is central to the programming at Hosfelt Gallery, and we believe it’s only by understanding the past that you can address the present and future.
